Heavy List Combat

All heavy list fighting will be fought with standard East Kingdom rules of engagement.

Heavy List Authorizations & Inspections

Inspections and authorizations for all Heavy List activities, including Combat Archery, will take place on Friday afternoon and begin again on Saturday at 8:00 am. Anyone needing an authorization on Saturday should try and be on the field early and let the marshals know what authorization you need. MOL authorization forms will be available on site. All marshals attending the event are asked to assist with authorizations and inspections if at all possible.

Please note there will be no siege activities at this year's Great Northeastern War.

Pas D'Armes

A formal Pas D'Armes will take place Friday evening, sponsored by the Shire of Endewearde.

A Pas D'Armes is martial tournament with 2 chief purposes, to showcase the prowess and chivalry of the combatants, and to entertain the gallery. The Shire of Endewearde is pleased to again host this tournament. We will begin with all the pomp and heraldry that such an event entails, including a Grand Melee, and individual challenges. Fighters are encouraged to bring out their finest raiment, and someone who will speak well for them. Should the latter prove a burden, we will be happy to supply one of our rent-a-heralds. Inevitably, as the tournament progresses, the light fades, and the gallery becomes more comfortable, the proceedings take on a merrier tone. Bards are encouraged to come and play to the crowd as our fighters gain their composure. Come one and all! This is a tournament for the spectators! Light refreshments will be provided for fighters and spectators alike.

Woods Battle

A one hour woods battle will take place on Saturday starting at 10:00 AM. This will be a resurrection battle and will include combat archery.

Classes

Any scheduled combat-related classes will be listed on the Great Northeastern University class schedule.

Below is the schedule of Heavy List activities at GNEW XXII. The Heavy List War Point will be awarded to the side who wins the best out of 5 total points. All times are subject to change. If you have any questions, please contact the Marshal-In-Charge, Lord Michael Acrensis.

       1:00 pm   -   Battlefield Opens. Inspections Begin. Pickup bouts.

       6:30 pm   -   Pas d'Armes sponsored by the Shire of Endewearde (1 Hour)

       Sundown   -   Battlefield Closes



Saturday, July 12th

       8:00 am   -   Battlefield opens. Inspections Begin.

       10:00 am   -   Woods Battle begins ( 1 Point, CA, resurrection )

       11:00 am   -   Woods Battle ends

       11:30 am   -   Town Battle begins ( 2 battles, 2 points, CA, last man )

       12:00 pm   -   Field Battle begins ( 2 battles, 2 points, CA, last man )

       1:00 pm   -   Open Field ( Non war point battles, training, and pick up bouts )

       2:30 pm   -   Svava's Whim Tourney

       6:00 pm   -   Battlefield closes
