Rapier Combat Activities

Town Battle

This is a new battle, held on the Heavy List field and using the castle. Heavy Rapier Deafult - there will be time for a light default round as well. Resurrection, capture the (mobile) flag. RBGs will be allowed. Inspections for RBGs will happen with all other inspections at the beginning of the day.

Tournament

This is the normal GNEW Tourney - Light Rapier Default - however please bring your Heavy as well. Fence as many people from the other team as possible. The team with the most wins at the end of 30 minutes is the winner.

Woods Battle

Heavy Rapier Default. Again, there will be time for a light default round, and this time also time for an RBG round. Resurrection, capture the (static) flag.

Youth Rapier

The Youth Rapier program is a new addition in the East Kingdom. There will be information and practice for Youth Rapier on Sunday morning, courtesy of Lady Bryn Millar of Endewearde.

Friday, July 11th
       3:00 pm   -   Fencing lists open for inspections and pickup bouts
       4:00 pm   -   Classes - more information to come
       5:00 pm   -   Fencing field closes
                       
Saturday, July 12th
       8:00 am   -   Rapier Combat Weapon & Armor Inspections, Authorizations, and pickup bouts
           -   Youth Rapier Information and Practice (1.5 hours)
       9:00 am   -   Classes - more information to come
       10:00 am   -   Town Battle begins (War Point)
       11:00 am   -   Town Battle ends
       12:00 pm   -   Tournament begins (War Point)
       1:00 pm   -   Tournament ends. Please clean up the lists.
       3:00 pm   -   Woods Battle (War Point).
       4:00 pm   -   Woods Battle ends. Fencing field closes. Please make sure your gear is cleaned out of the area for court.
